it is a series of processes that involves maturing of ovaries , ovulation in this process the ovaries of female produces an ovum in. fallopian tubes and if it is not fertilised by a sperm it is released out of the body along with blood and the utrine linning . means it is the periodic release of utrine linning

A menstrual cycle is is the process of ovulation aur egg production and menstruation in women . it is natural change that regularly occur in female reproductive system , which also is basis of pregnancy .

During this phase a women's body goes through several change . The menstrual cycle ensures the production of oocytes and prepares the uterus for pregnancy .

When an ovum is not fertilised in the absence of sperm , the lining of uterus shed and leades to menstruation .

The menstrual age start from age of 10 - 15 when a girl attain puberty and this begining is known as menarche . The menstruation stops after the age of 50 which is called monopause .

The menstrual cycle begins with the first day of bleeding and the cycle repeats itself every after 28 - 30 days depending on individual menstrual cycle.
