When an egg is released by ovary then the body prepares ovary for fertilisation like thickening of the uterus wall.When the egg do not fertilise in the time period of 25 days then the egg is removed by the body of female.It takes 3 to 4 days to remove an egg from a female's body.This is called menstrual cycle.The first menstrual flow is known as menarche.At the age of 50 to 55 years, the ovaries stop releasing eggs,that is called menopause.
