every month an ova is released by the ovary in the female body. it travels through the oviduct to come in the uterus. it waits there for 1 day, if it gets fertilize then its OK and if it doesn't gets fertilized in that 24 hours then it get released with some blood and mucus through the vagina. this continues for 4 to 5 days and occurs in every 28 days. this is called menstruation cycle.
