A cyclic changes occurs in female primates is known as Menstrual cycle. It starts after puberty at the age of 12-13 years. At the mid of every Menstrual cycle i.e; 14th day ovulation occurs.

Beginning of Menstrual cycle in female is known as Menarche.
Last Menstrual cycle of a female is termed as Menopause.
