process of formation of new organisms by an organism of some spieces without involvement of gametes is called asexual reproduction.
1. spore formation : fungi like Mucor have filamantous body. they have sporangia. once the spores are formed, sporangia burst and spores are released. spores germinite in moist and worm place and new fungal colony is formed.
2. Binary fission : prokaryotes (bacteria), protists (Ameoba, paramecium, euglena) etc. and eukaryotic cell-organelle like mithochondria and chloroplasts perform asexual reproduction by binary fisson. binary fission is usually performed by living organisms during favourable conditions i.e. avilability of abundant food material.
3. Vegetative propogation : Reproduction in plants with the help of vegetative parts like roots, stems, leaf and buds is called vegetative reproduction.
4. Budding : In case of Hydra, under favourable conditions, at specific parts of its body, an outgrowth is formed by repeated divisions of regeneratives cells of body walls. this outgrowth is called bud. budding hydra seperates from parent hydra and starts to lead an independent life when it grows up and becomes able to lead an independent life.
