Movement of small organisms e.g., Amoeba, Chlamydomonas, slime moulds and gametes from one place to another place due to some chemical stimulus is called chemotactic movement or chemotaxisms. Movement due to growth is called chemotropic movement or chemotropism.

I think it may come in biology... According to me the movement or growth of plant by stimulation of chemicals is called chemotropic movement..
