Mesoglea- it is the layer of an human eye, made up of gelatinous materials that separates the inner layer to the outer layer of eye (cnidarian).
2.it is translucent, non- living part.
3.mostly made up of water

this is the translucent, non-living, jelly-like substance found between the two epithelial cell layers in the bodies of coelenterates and sponges. The mesoglea is mostly water.
