Answer:

(1)Metallic radius is the one half of the internuclear distance between two nearest metal atoms in a metallic lattice. For example metallic radius of sodium=372/2=186 pm.( 2) Covalent radius is one half of the internuclear distance between two covalently bonded atoms. For example, covalent radius of hydrogen=74/2=37 pm.(3) Van der Waals radius is the one half of the internuclear distance between two nearest non -bonded atoms of the two neighbouring molecules of the same substance. For example, van der Waals radius of hydrogen=204/2=102 pm.
