✪Answer✪

Metals :-

Metals are elements that conduct heat of electricity and are malleable and ductile.

  • All metals are solid except mercury (Liquid).

  • Metals are the element's ( except hydrogen ) which form positive ions by losing electrins. ( Al3+ )

  • Metals are electropositive.

  • The most abundant metal in earth us crust is Al.

Non - Metals :-

Non-metals are the element's that do not conduct heat & electricity and neither malleable nor ductile.

  • Out of 22 non-metals, 10 non-metals are solids, 1 non-metal ( lormine ) is a liquide whereas remaining 11 non-metals are gases.

  • Non-metals are the element's which form negative ions by gaining electrons.

  • Non-metals are electronegative.

  • Hydrogen is only non-metal which loses electron.
