Metamorphosis is derived from the word metamorphoun.
It is the biological process that takes takes when the infant or the feotus is born and there is an abrupt change in its shape and size to adapt to the natural environment.... This can be said to be a part of evolution... The best example is a butterfly.... After hatching the butterfly that comes is of a sudden change because the structure of it and the larva are totally different.....
