What is metosis and meiosis.??

In meiosis the number of chromosomes present in daughter cells are half or you can say they are haploid.

But in mitosis the number of chromosomes are equal in daughter cells after division.

Mitosis occurs in somatic cells whereas meiosis in gamete formation.

Male and female gametes are haploid in the case of human.
