soap molecules have a different properties in each of its end ,one is hydrophilic and another is hydrophobic
hydrophilic ends which dissolves in water hydrophobic which dissolves in fats.
inside water,these molecules show a unique orientation that keeps the hydrocarbon portion out of the water .this is done by forming clusters of molecule in which hydrophobic tails are in the interior of the cluster and on the surface of the cluster,ionic ends are present.
this formation of cluster molecule is called micelle .to wash away the loosend dirt particles in the form of miscelles form the surface of the Cloth it is scrubbed mechanically or beaten or agitated in washing machine
