Microplye is a 'small opening' in the ovule of the seed plant, and also it is 'small opening' in the surface of egg by which the sperm enters.

EXPLANATION:

Micropyle is used for the various functions and processes of the egg or the seed plant. It is located at top of the seed or egg. The pollen grains enter through that.  And then the process of germination is followed by it.

The creation of pollen tube is done after this process, through the embryo sac.  All the water and the minerals enter through that small gap which is known as the micropyle. It is also the first part of embryo.
