Answer:

microsporogenesis. [ mī′krə-spôr′ə-jĕn′ĭ-sĭs ] The formation of microspores inside the microsporangia (or pollen sacs) of seed plants. A diploid cell in the microsporangium, called a microsporocyte or a pollen mother cell, undergoes meiosis and gives rise to four haploid microspores.

  • microsporogenesis is the process of formation of microspores from microspore mother cell or pollen mother cell through meiotic cell division. While another evolves the cell of the sporogenous tissue which pass off meiotic divisions to form microspore tetrads (haploid).

  • However, each cell of the sporogenous tissue is able to give rise microspore tetrad. As the anther matures and dehydrates, the microspores dissociates from each other and develops into pollen grains.
