microsporogenesis :- the formation of microspore from the microspore mother cell when MMC undergoes meiosis is known as microsporogenesis.

additional details:-

a) MMC contains four cells...e.g:- endothecium, middle layer ,tapatum, and epidermis.

b) the central part undergoes meiosis.

c) tapatum nourish the developing microspore.

d) developed microspore is known as anther.
