Micturition:- It is the act of urination.

Points to Remember:-

1. In the normal condition generally the bladder is relaxed and the sphincter contract whereas during micturition, the urinary bladder contract and urinary sphincter gets relaxed.

2. The urine that is formed by nephrons are then carried to the urinary bladder where it is stored till a voluntary signal is given by the CNS (Central Nervous system). And this signal is generated due to the streching of the bladder as it gets filled by urine.

3. The strech receptors of bladder sends sensory impulses to the CNS and starts micturition reflex.
