Mid-day meal refers to the shemes introduced in all government elementary schools to provide childrens with cooked lunch.The two purposes of this shemes are as follows:

1)These includes the fact tha more poor childrens have begun enrolling and regularly attending school.

2)Their mothers,who earlier had to interrupt their works to feed their childrens at home during the day,now no longer need to do so.
