Hii sir,

Mitochondria is an organelle found in large numbers in most cells. Biochemical processes like respiration and energy production occur here. It has two membranes with the inner one folded inwards to form layers ( cristae). Mitochondria is also called the power house of the cell as all metabolic activities take place here
