Heya!!!

Mitochondria is an organelle present in the eukaryotic cell.

it is a semi-autonomous organelle i.e. it can do most of it's functions without any external support

it also has its own DNA and ribosomes

It is a sausage shaped or cylindrical having a diameter in the range of 0.2-1.0 namometre and a length of 1.0-4.1namometres

it varies in number depending upon the function of the cell

it is also known as the powerhouse of the cell as it produces ATP (energy currency of the cell) by oxydition of carbohydrates, protein

it is the site of aerobic respiration

Hope it helps you
