hey,
The structure of viruses allows them to succeed in their main mission—reproduction. Lytic Cycle Once attached to a host cell, a virus injects its nucleic acid into the cell. The nucleic acid takes over thenormal operation of the host cell and produces multiple copies of the virus's protein coat and nucleic acid.
Hope it helps u...if possible then please mark it as brainlest answer..

\sf{\underline{Reproduction:}}

It is of two main types: Phagic and Pinocytic

(a) \text{\underline{Phagic\:Reproduction:}}

⚫Only nucleic acid of virus enters the host cell. It is further of two types:

(i) \sf{\underline{Lyric\:cycle:}} Occurs in virulent phages.

\sf{Example:} T_{4} bacteriophages.

(ii) \sf{\underline{Lysogenic\:cycle:}} Occurs in temperature viruses.

\sf{Example:} λ phage.

(b) \text{\underline {Pinocytic\:Reproduction:}}

⚫It is found in viruses like TMV, HIV, Hepatitis B etc., in which whole of virus particle enters host cell except envelope (if present).
