Modern periodic table or long form periodic table is à systematic classification of the elements in groups and periods in to a tabular chart.

The first accurate periodic table was made by Mendeleev but there were many drawbacks of his periodic table so to correct his faults the periodic table is modified by Moseley, which is based on the atomic number and which consists of 18 groups and 7 periods.... There are 118 elements placed in the modern or long form periodic table.... And in this periodic table the physical and chemical properties of the elements in same group are equal...
