Modernisation means the development and acceptance of new ideas according to the need of today's generation .

Example ----- France colonized Vietnam and wanted to modernize Vietnamese.
They wanted Vietnamese to follow -western rules and gets modernized.

Modernisation consists of different activities like building new buildings , construction of new monuments etc..
