What is Molarity(M)?

What is Molality(m)?

Is there any difference between both .If yes than state the reason .?

Write the formulae for both Molarity nd molality?

Answer:

Molarity and molality are both measures of the concentration of a chemical solution. Molarity is the ratio of moles to volume of the solution (mol/L) while molality is the ratio of moles to the mass of the solvent (mol/kg).

Answer:

MOLARITY :- No. of moles of solute dissolved in 1liter solution.

MOLALITY :- No. of moles of solute dissolved in 1kg of solute.

◾️ Yes their is a difference between molarity and MOLALITY MOLARITY is being counting in volume. .but molality is being counting in mass.

FORMULA.!

Molarity (M) =

 \frac{no. \: of \: moles \: of \: solute}{volume \: of \: solution \: (in \: liters)}

Molality (m) =

 \frac{moles \: of \: solute \: }{mss \: of \: solute \: (in \: kg)}

#hope it help uh.!
