The amount of substance which contains Avogadro number of particles

  • One mole of atom = 6.022 x 10 power 23 atoms = one gram atomic mass.

Example :

one mole of Mg = 6.022 x 10 power 23 atoms of Mg = one gram atomic mass of Mg = 12 g of Mg.
