Hii Mate here is your answer,
☆ What is a mole?
A Mole is a link between the mass of atoms or molecules and the number of atoms or molecules .
A connection between the numbers of atoms and the mass of it.
Mathematically :
1 mole of atoms = 6.022 × 10^23 atoms
1 mole of molecules = 6.022×10^23 molecules.
So,6.022× 10^23 is a constant which is 1 mole.
This refers the numbers of atoms or molecules. This is known as Avogadro Number.
》Link between Mole and Gram atomic mass
1 mole of atoms of an element has a mass equal to the gram atomic mass of the element .
e.g. 0xygen has gram atomic mass 16 that is 1 mole of it.
Similarly,
2o= 32 g = 2 moles of oxygen
This rule is also applicable for the molecules of different elements.
The gram atomic mass of a substance represents the mass of one mole of atoms of that substance.
So, we can write the below formula -----------
No. of atoms × A.N. = Moles
Moles× Gram Atomic Mass = Mass
No. of moles = Given Mass/ G.A. Mass
