"Mole: Mole is the measurement in chemistry..... One mole is defined as the amount of substance of a system which contains as many entities like, atoms, molecules and ions as there are atoms in 12 grams of carbon - 12".
Avogadro number: "The number of the particles present in one mole of any substance is equal to 6.022x1023."

prakhargupta3301: So mole is like a unit? Or a constant?

prashant27: because mole means a heap or pile
prakhargupta3301: Okay but we use it like the gravitational constant G right?
prashant27: yeah
prakhargupta3301: so why isnt it a constant?
prashant27: I don't know too much about mole concept
prakhargupta3301: it's okay dud
prakhargupta3301: dude*
