Momentum is that quantity that combined the mass and velocity or simply...

p= m*v

here, m=mass of an object

v= velocity

According to that the law of conservation of momentum the sum of momentum of two objects before and after the collision is conserved or same provided that there is no external unbalanced force

Momentum is nothing but it is defined as p=mv.
It's unit is kgms^-1
Law of conservation of momentum:If two objects collide with each other in an isolated system,the total momentum before collision is equal to the total momentum after collision.
