Momentum is a physics term; it refers to the quantity of motion that an object has. A sports team that is on the move has the momentum. If an object is in motion (on the move) then it has momentum. Momentum can be defined as "mass in motion."

Answer:

Explanation:

momentum is the product of mass of a particle and  its velocity. it is a vector quantity it has both magnitude and direction. its S.I unit is kilogram meter per second [kg m/s ] for example a ball a bowling ball (large mass) moving very slowly (low velocity) can have the same momentum as a baseball (small mass) that is thrown fast (high velocity).

hope it helps you very well
