momentum is the product of mass and velocity of a body
eg. a truck of mass 200kg is moving with a velocity 10m/s. What is its momentum
sol. m= 200kg
       v=10m/s
   momentum,P = mv
                          =200x10
                          =2000kg-m/s

narendrapalsingh: thanks
pandukasam: welcome
pandukasam: do one favour mark my answer as brainliest
narendrapalsingh: how to mark brainliest i m new here
moot: thats a gud and intellectual answer dude
pandukasam: thanks buddy

momentum is a product of the mass and the velocity of the object. the momentum changes very time when the mass or the velocity of the object changed.

example : a cycle of mass 60 kg's including the person sitting on it moves with the velocity 15 meters per second. find out the momentum of the object ?

solution : mass = 60 kg
               velocity = 15
to find out momentum of the body we should use the formula p = mv
in the formula p means momentum of the body, m is the mass and v is the velocity.

p = mv
p = 60*15
p = 900 meters per second.
