Money Laundering is the process of concealing one's income that is obtained from different illegal sources.

In this process, the money obtained from various illegal sources is passed through various Complex transfers and various commercial transactions.

The main aim behind money laundering is to conceal the source of that illegal money which has been obtained by the owner.

It is the generic term used to refer to the process by which criminals disguise their source of proceedings and original ownership of the money obtained.
