❤❤ HOLA MATE YOUR ANSWER-

Monocots have only one seed leaf inside the seed coat. It is often only a thin leaf, because the endosperm to feed the new plant is not inside the seed leaf.

They are one of the two types of flowering plants that belong to angiosperms; dicots being one, the other type being plants that have a singleseed leaf (monocots).

Monocot And Dicot

Monocots have only one seed leaf inside the seed coat.

It is often only a thin leaf, because the endosperm to feed the new plant is not inside the seed leaf.

Dicots have two seed leaves inside the seed coat.

Difference

Monocots differ from dicots in four distinct structural features:

  • leaves,
  • stems,
  • roots
  • flowers.

Whereas monocots have one cotyledon (vein), dicots have two.

This small difference at the very start of the plant's life cycle leads each plant to develop vast differences.

【Hope it helps】
