The anatomy of the monocot root is similar to the dicot root in many respects it has epidermis, cortex , endodermis , pericycle , vascular bundles and pith .As compared to the dicot root which have fewer xylem bundles , there are usually more than six xylem bundles in the monocot roots . pith is larger and we'll developed.

Howdy, buddy!

pertaining to a flowering plant having a seed with one embryonic leaf (a single cotyledon) is called monocotyledon or simple monocot.

Monocotyledonous root consists of xylem, pith,cambium, epidermis, cortex, endodermis,vascular tissue,pericycle etc.

The pith is large is size and is well-developed.

The xylem consistency varies from 15 to 20.
