A polymer is made of small units called monomers.
A polymer is a large molecules or macromolecules composed of many repeated subunits . eg wool and silk.
Thermoplastics are those plastic that can retain their plasticity even after repeated heating and cooling they can be molded again and again . example polythene, acrylics and nylon.

The small unit is actually a molecule is called monomer. Many such units combine to form long chains called polymers.plastics which get deformed easily on heating and can be bent to any shape are known as thermoplastic.for example pvc (poly vinyl chloride).these are used for manufacturing toys and containers etc.
