Most of the water is used in photosyntesis that is making food

Plants absorb water from the soil by osmosis. Root hair cells are adapted for this by having a large surface area to speed up osmosis. The absorbed wateris transported through the roots to the rest of the plant where it is used for different purposes: It is a reactant usedin photosynthesis.

rockstar24h: plz plz mark my answer brainliest
betterrdayys: Are you sure? I was stuck on this answer because in my lessons, it says that a large amount of the water that is pulled from the roots up to leaves exits the plant through transpiration and is not used for photosynthesis. But then it says it is needed to keep the pull strong enough to continue to pull water up to the leaves to be used in photosynthesis
rockstar24h: Both are correct

betterrdayys: so photosynthesis is the best answer?
betterrdayys: it's already marked as brainliest!
rockstar24h: Thanku very much
