Motion is a change in position of an object over time.

Types of motion. Simple harmonic motion – (e.g., that of a pendulum). Linear motion – motion which follows a straight linear path, and whose displacement is exactly the same as its trajectory. Reciprocal motion (e.g. vibration) Random motion (e.g. vibration)

1.uniform motion: when a body covers equal distance in the equal interval of time then it is said to be in the uniform motion

2.non uniform motion: when a body covers un equal distance in the equal interval of time then it is said to be in nonuniform motion
