Cells of exibit mainly three types of movement
1)Amoeboid-occurs with the help of pseudopodia which are formed by cytoplasm .
cytoskeletal microfilaments r also involved in this.
2)Ciliary - it occurs in protozoans and internal tubular organs lined by ciliated epithelium .
eg-ciliated movement in trachea and fallopian tubes..
3)Muscular-used in majority of vertebrates ..takes place through the use of muscle fibres via contraction amd relaxation..
