ANSWER

MULTIPLICATIVE INVERSE = RECIPROCAL OF A NUMBER

SO THAT ON MULTIPLYING BY ITS MULTIPLICATIVE INVERSE WE GET 1 AS RESULT.

EXAMPLE:-

MULTIPLICATIVE INVERSE OF 33 IS 1/33

MULTIPLICATIVE INVERSE OF 3/4 = 4/3

MULTIPLICATIVE INVERSE OF -2 is -1/2

BBECAUSE

33 × MULTIPLICATIVE INVERSE = 1

MULTIPLICATIVE INVERSE = 1/33

note :- 1 is called multiplicative identity
