Muscular tissues are made up of muscle cells. They are elongated and large size, so they are called as muscle fibers. They contain special protein called contractile protein. This protein help in the movement of body or limbs by contraction and relaxation. They are arrange parallel to each other, that they can work together. There are three types of muscular tissues. They are-:

1- Striated muscles
2- Smooth muscles
3- Cardiac muscles
