-MYA is physical quantity used for measurement of time like how we use grams for measurement of Wieght. MYA - MILLION YEAR AGO. MILLION =10^6. But one obvious doubt arises to someone unfamiliar with this term is who would stay alive for such a long time to measure it .Well its a good doubt.
