myopia is the defect of eye in which a person can see faraway objects clearly and cannot see nearby objects clearly

Myopia - a myopic person can see nearby objects clearly but cannot see distant objects clearly. image is formed in front of retina. it is called short sightedness.
CORRECTION OF MYOPIA
it is done by using concave lens of appropriate power.
(i) in a myopic eye image of distant object is formed in front of retina.
(ii) the far point of myopic eye is less than infinity.
(iii) the concave lens placed in the front of eye forms a virtual image of distant object at her point of myopic eye.
