Myopia is the near sightedness. It means the person can see the nearby objects clearly but can not see the far away objects clearly.
This defect can be corrected using concave lens.
Hypermetropia is the long sightedness. It mean the person cannot see the far off objects clearly but can the nearby objects clearly.
This defect can be corrected using convex lens.
