MYOPIA is A kiind of defect in which a person is unable to see the object clearly.

the far point of myopia is less than infinity.

this is caused by two ways:-

i.) due to high converging of lens

or we can say

ii.)due to eyevball being too large

MYOPIA is corrected by the spectacles containing concave lens.

Concave lens is used to reduce the converging power of eye lens

so the f is increased and person can see the far point clearly.
