Nanotechnology is the branch of science, engineering, technology that deals with dimensions and tolerances of less than 100 nanometres.

It is manipulation of matter on an atomic, molecular, and supramolecular scale.

Examples of nanotechnology in modern use are:-

i) The manufacture of polymers based on molecular structure.

ii) The design of computer chip layouts based on surface science.

etc.

1)nanotechnology  mainly deals with the objects which are less than 100 nanometres and it also studies about the atoms and molecules

2)nanotechnology in modern science mainly deals with the small sized or especially nano sized objects , hence it is called as nanotechnology

3)it is used in  sensors to detect very small amounts of chemical vapors or chemicals

4)Nanoparticles are used for the manufacturing of glasses ,ceramic coatings and sunscreen etc

5)nano technology is also used in the medical field to cure diseases and this is called Nanomedicine.
