your answer is:-
Plants are capable of rapidly adapting to changes in their environment. This can be in the form of irreversible changes in growth (See Cell Enlargement) or reversible movements in response to a stimulus. Nastic movements in plants are reversible and repeatable movements in response to a stimulus whose direction is determined by the anatomy of the plant. Examples include the diurnal movement of leaves and the response of insectivorous plants, such as the Venus fly trap, to prey.
I hope it will help you

Dear Student,

β—† Nastic movement -

Non-directional reversible movement of a plant part in response to external stimuli is called nastic movement.

This movement is random and not in any specific direction.

It is not associated with growth and is usually reversible.

For example, when light falls on tulip flower, its petals open up and at night, they close off. This is photonasty.

Thanks dear. Hope this helps you...
