Network address translation.

NAT used for converted to private ip address into public IP address and same as public to private ip address.

Main reason is ,we use IPv4 that provides 4.2 billions ip address but ours population is 7.2 billions or more now in 2017. Now a day's many Internet digital devices (laptops, smart phones, tabs etc)uses by the peoples and cross 4.2 billions ip address.

Example, one router have one ip address Internet connection, router allow to connect multi Mac address devices , router have a routing tables and easly generate new address throw lp address by provide ISP's.

Network Address Translation (NAT)

  • Network address translation is a method of remapping one IP address space into another by modifying network address information in the IP header of packets while they are in transit across a traffic routing device.
