The New Zealand National Party, shortened to National or the Nats, is a centre-right political party in New Zealand. It is one of two major parties that largely dominate contemporary New Zealand politics, alongside its traditional rival, the Labour Party.
A political party that held power in South Africa from 1948 until the country's first democratic elections in 1994. Formed in 1914 as an Afrikaner party, it favoured racial segregation and instituted apartheid.
India has a multi-party system. Political parties are classified as national, state or regional level parties. The status of a party is accorded by the Election Commission of India. All parties are registered with the Election Commission. Regional parties are parties whose main holds are in one certain state and mostly they participate in the elections only within that state.
