Explanation:

Nationalism:

Nationalism is an idea and movement that promotes the interests of a particular nation (as in a group of people), especially with the aim of gaining and maintaining the nation's sovereignty (self-governance) over its homeland.

Paintings spread this message in this way::

1) The leaders promoted Indian industry and told people not to use foreign products.

2) The students took an active part and spread the message of swadeshi.

3) The people took part actively in the boycott movement and refused to use any foreign products.

4) Nationalist press with their newspapers and magazines promoted swadeshi.

Answer:

Nationalism is the feeling of being considering ourselves related to a common set of interest of welfare of country. It is also a movement which brought the central idea of forming nation instead of being divided into kingdoms, dutchies etc.

Explanation:

Painting like that of Bharat Mata painted by Aurobindo Tagore provided an idea of connection and promoted feeling of serving this Mata.

Paintings of Bharat Mata acquired many forms like that depicting Bharat mata with lion, elephant and with Indian flag.

Our national flag also undergoes several transformations and spread the idea of nationalism.

Artists also draw paintings of national leaders with national symbols.

Hope it helps!!!!!
