Answer:

Nationalism :- Nationalism is an

ideology and movement characterized by the promotion of the interests of the particular nation , especially the aim of gaining and maintaining the nation's sovereignty over its homeland . There are three paradigms for understanding the origin and the basis of nationalism .

Combination reaction :- combination reaction is a reaction where two or more elements or compounds combined to form single compound . search reactions may be represented by equations of the following form : X + Y ---> XY .

Displacement reaction :- Displacement reaction is a reaction in which a more reactive element displaces a less reactive element from its compound . Both metals and non metals take part in displacement reaction . Example : Reaction of iron nails with copper sulphate solution .

Explanation:

1. Nationalism refers to the feeling of oneness or common consciousness among people sharing the same political, cultural, and linguistic backgroud.

2. A combination reaction is a reaction where two or more elements or compounds combine to form a single compound. Such reactions may be represented by equations of the following form:

X + Y → XY.

The combination of two or more elements and form one compound is called combination reaction.

3. As you have not mentioned the type we will consider both types here:

Single Displacement Reactions:

Single displacement reactions are reactions where one reactant replaces part of the other:

AB + C → AC + B

An example is the reaction between iron and copper sulfate to produce iron sulfate and copper:

Fe + CuSO4 → FeSO4 + Cu

Here, both iron and copper have the same valence. One metal cation takes the place of the other, bonding to the sulfate anion.

Double Displacement Reactions:

Double displacement reactions are reactions where the cations and anions in the reactants switch partners to form products:

AB + CD → AD + CB

An example is the reaction between silver nitrate and sodium chloride to form silver chloride and sodium nitrate:

AgNO3 + NaCl → AgCl + NaNO3
