Natural vegetation refers to a plant community which has grown naturally  without human aid.

The vegetation grown naturally on a piece of land without any human aid is called natural vegetation. It is also called virgin vegetation.
It is important because of the following reasons:
i) It increases the forest cover of that area.
ii) It controls the temperature of the area.
