1) ORIGINAL JURISDICATION - The cases which are heard by the supreme court only, come under ORIGINAL jurisdiction of the apex court.
2) APPELLATE JURISDICTION- The power granted to a higher court to hear appeals against the judgement of a lower court is called APPELLATE jurisdiction.
3) ADVISORY JURISDICTION - The supreme court has the power to interpret the constitution. so, the president of India may ask the supreme court for advice on various constitutional matters. this is known as the advisory jurisdiction.
